What I Wore to the Golden Gate Bridge

At the Port of San Francisco

I like carrots.

Walking through the Saturday Market where I wanted to eat everything.

Walking along all the piers.

Fisherman's Wharf

Finally reached Pier 39 and a mural by Wyland who has a gallery in Laguna Beach

Sea Lions at the Pier

I simply loved the Golden Gate Bridge. I love all bridges but this one was really spectacular. The orange color is so unique and the pretty shores along both ends make it even better. It was my first stop on my visit and I loved that you could see the bridge in so many different parts of the city.

I also included some pictures I took on my Saturday morning adventure with Lauren and Emily. We took a bus that wound us through the city including Chinatown, past schools, parks and in between skyscrapers until we ended up at the Embarcadero Center. Saturdays here are where it is at. There was an amazing open market with vendors and artists with booths and tents galore. I bought a watercolor painting of the bridge and Lauren bought some dark chocolate almond brittle which was about the most amazing thing I ever tasted. We walked around, looked at the boats, sampled cheeses and cider, enjoyed the sunshine and most importantly,  enjoyed San Francisco at our own leisurely pace.
